While I don't specialize in photojournalism, I still aim to take photos as I write. I believe that by taking photos, you get to see the events take place, as well as the true human emotion within the event.

Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Weigh-Off
As my first ever news article, I came into this beat knowing little to nothing. This was my first experience using a camera. Due to the haziness of Half Moon Bay, I had to adjust the lighting to make sure the pumpkins did not lose their color.
